Roman Forum & Palatine Hill Guided Walk

The Roman Forum is where it all happened: elections, trials, triumphs and funerals. But if you arrive without a guide it can look like a field of broken columns. This walking tour puts the stones back in context.
After priority entry, your guide takes you along the Sacred Way, past the Arch of Titus and the Temple of Vesta, and explains the layout of the Forum from the Senate House to the Rostra. Then it is up to the Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome and later the site of imperial palaces, with a view over the Circus Maximus.
The pace is relaxed and the stories are chosen to help you remember what you see. It is a good combination with a morning at the Colosseum. Start times and prices are guidance; check current details when you enquire.
