Who we are

Rome Tourz is an independent website that helps visitors compare tours, tickets and experiences in Rome, Italy. We are not a tour operator for the partner tours we show, and we do not run them.

GetYourGuide partner links

Many tours on Rome Tourz are provided by GetYourGuide. We are a GetYourGuide affiliate partner. When you click a Book or Check availability button on a partner tour, we send you to GetYourGuide through a tracked link. If you then make a booking, GetYourGuide may pay us a commission.

You pay the same price as you would on GetYourGuide directly. The commission comes out of GetYourGuide's margin, not on top of your price.

The booking contract is between you and GetYourGuide (or the tour provider). They handle payment, vouchers, changes and refunds.

Our own tours and operator listings

For some tours we take enquiries or bookings ourselves, and we say so on the tour page. Other tours are listed by local operators on a free or paid plan. For those, you book with the operator or send an enquiry, and the operator is responsible for delivering the tour.

Operators can pay a monthly subscription for extra listings, featured placement and analytics. Featured listings are labelled. A paid plan does not buy a better description, a review or a rating.

Editorial independence

Our guides, journal articles and tour descriptions are written by our editors. Commission rates and subscriptions do not decide what we write or which tours we consider good. We do not accept payment for reviews, and we show ratings only when they come from real data.

If a tour changes, sells out or draws complaints, we update or remove it, whether or not it earns us money.

How links are marked

Affiliate and booking links on Rome Tourz carry the attributes rel="sponsored" so search engines know they are commercial. Our booking buttons go through a Rome Tourz link, which counts the click and adds tracking parameters before forwarding you to the partner.

Tracking may use cookies set by the partner after you arrive on their site. See our privacy policy for details.
